Crown chakra is the 7th of the seven main human chakras. The seventh chakra is referred to as "Sahasrara," in sanskrit which means 'the thousand-petal lotus chakra'.It is located at the crown of the head. This chakra is our source of enlightenment and spiritual connection to all that is. It is a connection to our higher selves, to every being on the planet, and ultimately the divine energy that creates everything in the universe. The lotus flower is a symbol in both the Hindu and Buddhist traditions. It grows and emerges in muddy waters. Yet It blooms beautifully. 

When you open your seventh chakra, you go beyond the physical body identification, beyond the ego, mind, and intellect. You even push beyond the individual soul that ties you to Samsara, the endless cycle of birth and rebirth. You are freed from attachments to desires. White light surrounds your body and you appear to stand out like a lotus despite even the chaos in your surroundings. 

True opening of Crown Chakra means the realization that you are pure awareness. You are pure consciousness, undivided, and all expansive. You are connected to everything and everyone in a beautiful blissful loving manner and realization.
